What is a Covid-19 Risk Assessment?

Jewel Safety have been working with a number of our clients to provide risk assessments for businesses getting ready to open back up after lockdown. In May 2021, the UK Government released a number of documents to help companies in the warehousing, manufacturing and office sectors become COVID Secure. Over the coming months, it will be vital to make sure that we all have suitable and sufficient risk assessments in place to protect both customers and staff.
When putting the risk assessment together we must think about what hazards COVID-19 pose in the workplace, and implement suitable control measures. As always, the risk assessments need to be communicated to all staff members to make sure they understand the risks and control being implemented.
Feel free to get in touch with us if you need some help with your COVID-19 risk assessment. Please use the contact form and we'll get right back to you.
We have put together a number of signs that you might find helpful as part of implementing your risk assessment. The PDF can be downloaded free of charge. Download Covid-19 signage.
Guidance is constantly been updated so keep checking the governments website to make sure you have the most up to date information. Your risk assessment will need to be frequently updates, and any changes communicated to your staff.
