Fire Safety courses - What we cover.


We offer a number of fire safety training courses. These range from a bespoke short course to an accredited full day course.


Bespoke Fire Safety Training.


A short fire safety course can be tailored to meet the needs of your business. This course can be delivered in your premisses or online and lasts between 2 and 3 hours. All delegates complete a short written assessment at the end of the course.


Accredited Fire Safety Training.


This is an accredited course run through First Aid Awards and registered with Ofqual.


Duration

This is a 6 hour classroom based course.


Syllabus

A range of subjects are covered that will equip the delegates to:

  • The hazards and risks associated with fire in the workplace.
  • How fire risk is controlled in the workplace.
  • The role of the fire warden.
  • The principles and practice of fire safety at work.


Certification

Practical assessment is on-going by the instructor, culminating with a written assessment. Successful participents gain a Level 2 Award in Fire Safety Certificate.


This qualification does not expire, but refresher training and keeping up to date with changes to policies and procedures is vital to keep the qualification current.


How many delegates can we train?

A maximum of 12 students are allowed and must be a minimum of 16 years of age and a certificate can be offered to all, subject to assessment.
